Ahmed joined Lorax in September 2016.

Ahmed was involved in EAEF’s investment in Orchidia and Misr Hytech. He was also involved in LCP Fund II’s investment in Dsquares, Lucky, MNT-Halan and Mylerz.

Prior to that Ahmed was an Analyst & ESG Officer at BPE Partners from 2014-2016 where he completed the IFC Sustainability Training and E-Learning Program (STEP) and the IFC E-Learning Course on Managing Environmental and Social Performance.

Ahmed graduated from Boston University in 2014 with a BSc in Business Administration with an Entrepreneurship concentration.
